Product Information
Product Overview
Specially designed to support dogs with issues such as separation anxiety, fear of fireworks or loud noises, restlessness, excessive barking and aggression. The carefully considered ingredients in Walkies Calming Complex could help to leave these things in the past and allow your dog to lead a more peaceful life.
The tablets come in a tasty chicken flavour that dogs will love, and they can also be crumbled up and hidden in treats or food if necessary.
Formulated with a wide range of effective ingredients of the highest quality to deliver maximum benefit for you and your dog:
- Taurine
Taurine is an amino acid and widely considered to be nootropic which functions as a neurotransmitter, protects brain cells and supports both memory and mood. It is also said to positively impact anxiety and depression by influencing brain signals.
- Inositol
Inositol is a substance that can be produced in the body and when taken as a supplement it has long been thought to reduce general anxiety along with panic and OCD symptoms.
- L-Theanine
L-Theanine is found primarily in green tea, black tea and some mushrooms. It is most known for helping with relaxation and said to ease anxiety, stress and reduce insomnia.
- Thiamine (Vitamin B1)
Thiamine is often called an ‘anti stress’ vitamin due to how it may strengthen the immune system and support the ability to withstand stressful conditions. This makes it perfect for any dog that experiences stress or anxiety in certain situations such as when fireworks are heard.
- Ginger Extract
Ginger is believed to support blood flow to the brain and help vagus nerve function; this is said to assist with self-regulation and the ability to co-regulate with others.
Research has found that there is a connection between the gut and the brain and when experiencing issues such as bloating it can also impact your levels of anxiety. Your dog cannot tell you when they are experiencing gut issues but this could be a reason for their specific behaviour. Ginger may soothe the digestive system and ensure that we are tackling problems from all directions.
- Magnesium
Magnesium has many uses when it comes to supporting anxiety and encouraging a sense of relaxation; it may help to control the chemical messages whizzing around in your dogs brain which could have a profound impact in reducing their stress and anxiety levels.
One of the key reactions to stress and anxiety is muscle tension. Magnesium is a vital nutrient in supporting proper muscle function and could encourage relaxation in the muscle tissue.
In addition to this, magnesium is also said to have benefits in being able to help sleep quality by regulating neurotransmitters. If your dog is able to experience better sleep then this could also improve their anxiety and stress as they could be functioning at a higher level overall.
